Project Options

Family Trip

• Proposal - Using Zoho Writer and VoiceThread.com, create a proposal for your trip by answering the following questions: Where are you going? Who is going with you? Why did you pick this place? What activities will you be doing on this trip?
• Budget - Using Zoho Sheet, make a budget including the costs of travel, activities, spending cash, food, and shelter with a final balance of everything.
• Photos - Using the internet, find appropriate pictures of your trip location and then resize the pictures using PhotoScape. Do not forget to site where you found the images.
• Presentation - Using Zoho Show, create a slideshow that introduces your trip and some of the acitivities you will be doing on your trip. Use the information you found during your research to complete your presentation.
• Advertising - Using SumoPaint, you will be making a poster about your location. Use your research to advertise to others why they should visit the same place you are.
• Web Page - Using the Pbworks.com, you will design a web page of your trip to show others what you have done on your trip. This is similar to the Scrapbook but all work will be completed on www.mrbentheim.com
• Movie - Using Animoto, you will make a movie or a commercial about your trip.
• CHALLENGE - KEEP WITHIN A BUDGET OF $3000.

Plan a Party

• Proposal - Using a Zoho Writer and VoiceThread.com, create a proposal for your party by answering the following questions: What are you celebrating? How many people are coming? Where is it taking place? What activities/games will be available at the party?
• Budget - Using a Zoho Sheet, make a budget including the costs of decorations, place rental, and other party needs.
• Photos - Using the internet, find pictures of party decorations, place ideas, and activities you plan to have at your party and then resize the pictures using PhotoScape. Do not forget to site where you found the images.
• Presentation - Using Zoho Show, create a slideshow that shows your potential guests the reason for the party, possible locations, possible activities/games, and telling them why they should attend your party.
• Advertising - Using SumoPaint, you will create a poster to encourage people to go to your party.
• Web Page - Using the class wiki, you will design a web page of your party to show others what happened at your party. This is similar to the Scrapbook but all work will be completed on www.mrbentheim.com
• Movie - Using Animoto, you will make a movie or a commercial about your party.
• CHALLENGE - HOLD A PARTY BASED ON WHAT YOU HAVE PLANNED IN CLASS.

• Photos - Using the internet, find pictures of your films stars, where you will be filming, and examples of props and special effects.
• Presentation - Using Zoho Show, create a slideshow that tells viewers the name of your film, what it is about, who stars in it, and why we should see it.
• Advertising - Using SumoPaint, you will create movie posters to encourage people to see your movie
• Web Page - Using the class wiki, you will design a web page of your movie to show others what happened during the making. This is similar to the Scrapbook but all work will be completed on www.mrbentheim.com
• Movie - Using Animoto, you will make a commercial about your film.
• CHALLENGE - MAKE A MOVIE AT HOME BASED ON THE IDEA YOU HAVE FOR THIS PROJECT.

• Budget - Using a Zoho Sheet, create a budget including costs for building rent, material costs (what you need to make the product), employee salaries, equipment needed (machines, computers, etc.), and other business expenses.
• Photos - Using the internet, find picutres of what your building will look like, how your office will be set up, and what your product/service looks like.
• Presentation - Using Zoho Show, create a slideshow that tells potential customers about the product/service, why they should buy it from you, and where the product is made.
• Advertising - Using SumoPaint, you will create ads to show off your product/service while telling people why they should buy your product.

• Photos - Using the internet, find pictures of other games similar to the one you are designing.
• Presentation - Using Zoho Show, create a slideshow that tells potential customers the name of the video game, what it is about, and potential playing experiences they will have
• Advertising - Using SumoPaint, create an ad about your video game that tells people why they should buy your game.

How will you decorate for the event? Who is invited to the event? What food will you serve? Will you hire staff or ask for volunteers? Are you trying to raise money? If so, how much?
• Budget - Using a Zoho Sheet, create a budget including costs for food, decorations, location fees, staff salaries (not needed if you rely on volunteers). If you are trying to raise money, how much did you raise after expenses?
• Photos - Using the internet, find pictures of the decorations you will use, food ideas, the person or group you are holding the event for.
• Presentation - Using Zoho Show, create a slideshow that tells your community who or what the event is for, examples of the decorations and food, and the amount of money you are trying to raise.
• Advertising - Using SumoPaint, create an ad/poster that will want people to attend the event and donate money.

How many guests will you invite? What kind of entertainment will you have at the wedding?
• Budget - Using a Zoho Sheet, create a budget including the costs of photography, videography, flowers, site location, food, transportation, etc.
• Photos - Using the internet, find pictures of decorations, food, dresses, tuxedos, and location for the wedding.
• Presentation - Using Zoho Show, create a slideshow to share your vision for the wedding by including pictures of the decorations, food, dresses, tuxedos, and location.
• Advertising - Using SumoPaint, create a poster that highlights your wedding and why they should come.
